PGX will be attending the 2012 San Diego Comic Con from July 12 through the 15th.

We will be taking in submissions and witnessing signatures.
We will not be setting up a booth at the show or doing onsite grading. Please contact up prior to the show to arrange to drop books off for grading or to set up witnessing for signatures.

The PGX service and commitment to accurate grading is second to none. I sent in 14 books on behalf of my father and they came back looking great in the PGX holder. I will recommend PGX to others in the Toronto area that badly need this service. Long live PGX!

The gentleman that I talked to on the phone was very helpful and I was happy to hear that my order was completed and that my wife’s order had arrived safely. I believe that PGX is much better than CGC and I don’t see how there can be an argument especially during a side by side comparison. I really like that PGX has a reputation for being very strict at grading because there is no questioning the condition or value especially when one is lucky enough to get a high grade. Anyway that’s enough butt kissing for today. Your company is tops in my book and I will continue to use PGX.

Hello, Thanks for the response. I want to reiterate to you how happy I was w/ the quality of the work you guys did. I think your encapsulations are superior to the CGC. Iﾒll certainly use you folks again, the price for the product (and I did mention the encapsulation is awesome?) is just so much better than what Iﾒve been getting from the CGC. Thanks for the notes, it was very interesting to see them, especially since once the book is encapsulated the interior becomes ﾓoff limitsﾔ. See you with the next batch in a month or so and again, thanks for the response.

If I haven’t said so before, I think PGX is doing a fabulous job. I’m completely satisfied with it all. I don’t mine the slightly longer wait once in a while. You make up for it in so many other ways. How could I complain. The other grading company isn’t “all that”. And you can quote me on that. Keep up the great work.

On the basis of experience, I firmly believe that PGX exceeds CGC standards when it comes to customer service, cost of grading, and quality of comic book cases. I also believe that PGX is at least as strict in its grading as CGC. I think that the ONLY advantage CGC has over PGX is that it was established first and is therefore currently more known and accepted among comic collectors.

When running a company, it’s easy to provide good customer service when things are running smoothly. It’s when a problem occurs, that providing good service can be a challenge and will cause the ship to float or sink. Recently, I sent a single book to you guys and there was a problem because of a glitch you had with your shipping company. Well, to make a long story short, the book was not traceable for a couple of weeks and I was getting a little worried it might be lost. After calling, I was very impressed that you folks took the time to work to resolve the matter. You confirmed my book was in fact shipped and took the time to call me at home to reassure me that all was well. A few days later, the book arrived in perfect shape and was beautifully encapsulated, as I expected. I was also very pleased with the grading! On top of that, you guys promised to make things up to me on my next order, which I’m sure you will. I realize there is no such thing as a perfect world. Problems pop up; its how we address them when the time comes that determines our real strengths. I wanted to thank you for the excellent customer service and personal care I received. I was a PGX customer long before this incident happened and I will continue to be in the future. Your product is fantastic and the customer service is exemplary! Thank you…

I wanted to drop a line to say how impressed I have been with your service. Ive heard a lot of slams from CGC and CGC supporters, but I thought Id give your service a try. I received a prompt email to confirm receipt of the books. The books were graded on time and I got my tracking number on shipment. The shipment arrived professionally packed, extremely secure. The books, in my opinion, were graded accurately. The holder is as good as CGC if not better. I also feel like I got great value out of the service, as the fees were very reasonable.

As I get more books in I will definitely use your service again.

Hi Guys. Just got back my eight comics you graded and I’m very impressed. The holders look great and are the best in the grading world. They are clear, sturdy, easy to handle and stack nicely. You even managed to fit my slightly oversized “Space Giants” into the holder without any bends or waves. You also got my comics back to me when you said you would.

Got my books in a hurry from you, thanks for the great service and the emails. Something that cgc should do. Also, I do not see how ebay can eliminate the reference to cgc in a listing. When I list old slot cars or models and I say Aurora like in the listing, where is the problem? Anyway, thanks again!! I was really impressed!

WOW! I send my comics priority mail 2/2008 get and e-mail 2/6/2008 telling me my books will be shipped 2/29/2008. On 2/17/2008 I get an email telling me my books are on the way back. That is just crazy. I shopped around before I ever had a book graded and started with you guys. I think I’ll stay.

I am in the process of sending you several hundred books from my collection, and I have been very pleased with your service. I wanted to emphasize hopefully for public consumption an important feature of your service that sets you apart from your competition: You give honest apparent grades to restored books. In my experience, the other major grading company slaughters restored books, especially the key books that are most likely to be restored. In theory, once one has identified all of the restoration that a book has undergone, an apparent grade should be the grade that the book would receive if it was unrestored. In practice, the other folks typically award 5.0 and 5.5 grades to restored books that appear to any reasonable observer to be 8.0 and 9.0. I do not understand their motivation, but I am glad that you folks stick to the facts. Keep up the great work.

Dear PGX, My comics arrived from PGX this morning, a week ahead of schedule I might add. Now that’s quality service! Even with much of your staff away at conventions last month, you still managed to get my books back to me nearly two weeks early! This is my first experience with PGX and I’m very pleased overall. I thought a couple of my books might grade a bit better, but hey, it is what it is and I’m not a professional grader. The holder you folks came up with is far superior to that of the competition I might add. There is no comparison. It’s superior in every way. Just holding your holder in one hand the competition’s holder in the other makes this obvious. This was my first experience sending some of my books to be professionally graded. I was so nervous about sending them across the country. You guys put my fears at ease. You e-mailed me when they arrived and did the same when they were sent back to me. Anyway, thank you. Please know you have a new customer, as I’ll be sending some more books for grading shortly. Also, you have a new advocate out here in the comic world.
